Jessica Herman is an art therapist in the Creative Forces Network at A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center Intrepid Spirit Center/Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Clinic. She is a board-certified art therapist who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in fine art from Elizabethtown College and received her MA in Art Therapy from The George Washington University (GW). Through her internship at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and her studies at GW, Jessica became interested in trauma and how it impacts the brain. Jessica is honored to have worked at the Intrepid Spirit Center as part of the Creative Forces Network since October 2016. Jessica is passionate about sharing the power of art therapy with active duty and veteran service members diagnosed with TBI and other psychological health concerns, along with their families and caregivers.
