Clare Hogan is a board-certified music therapist in the Creative Forces Network at the Intrepid Spirit Center in Fort Carson, Colorado. Clare received her BA in percussion performance from Oregon State University and her Bachelor of Music Therapy from Marylhurst University. She completed her music therapy internship at the Institute for Therapy through the Arts, a creative arts therapy clinic in Illinois. After passing her board certification exam, she moved to Colorado Springs, where she worked for five years in home health, working with groups and individuals as well as children and adults of all abilities. Clare has worked with patients to address their mental and emotional health, developmental, learning, physical, and neurologic disabilities, as well as traumatic brain injury, dementia, and more. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cat, soaking up the Colorado sunshine, seeing as much live music as possible, reading, and capturing landscape and concert photography.
