Footprints' Heroes Home Gate will develop and implement a multidisciplinary arts program to make visual and performing arts more accessible for residents at their transitional housing facility for veterans in Kansas City, Missouri. The program is designed to serve approximately 100 veterans annually, including current residents and alums, with each veteran's stay varying from a few weeks to several months. The program aims to offer a variety of outlets for artistic expression, engagement, skill-building, and support recovery and social reintegration. The program will allow veterans to engage in creative expression to help support their successful reintegration into civilian life.
