The Delaware Art Museum, in partnership with the Wilmington Vet Center and Mariposa Arts, will adapt and expand its Healing Through the Arts program to serve more active-duty military members, veterans, and their families throughout Delaware during the grant period. Using expert, trauma-informed instructors trained in a variety of art forms, such as art journaling, meditative sound and movement, drumming, Zentangle, and more, the Museum will offer service members - past and present - and their loved ones the opportunity to use art to create meaningful healing opportunities.
