Seattle Opera, in partnership with the Soldiers’ Chorus of the U.S. Army Field Band, will present "Portraits of Service," a program that will result in a new, collaboratively written musical piece for Seattle Opera’s Veterans Choir. Through this project, veteran participants and their family members will work to create a series of three short pieces with similar themes based on stories and experiences shared. The new pieces will be jointly performed by the Veterans Choir and the U.S. Army Soldiers’ Chorus in a forthcoming season.
