Tacoma Arts Live's Strengthening Social Emotional Learning through the Arts project aims to provide military personnel, families, and caregivers with arts-integrated social-emotional learning and relationship-building opportunities. Through the LENS Project (Learn Empathy, Negotiation, and Sense of Self) and Restorative Practices, participants will benefit from proven arts workshops that restore social, creative, and emotional frameworks. This project addresses the practical barriers of partnering with the military and will help boost the well-being and quality of life of the military community in Tacoma, Washington.
