SongwritingWith:Soldiers will present a three-day collaborative songwriting retreat for veterans in August 2024. The retreat is a women-veterans-only retreat, serving female veterans from any branch of the military and any era. The program's activities will be structured around songwriting, creativity workshops, and wellness and mindfulness practices to foster positive mental health and connections. Participants will be paired with professional songwriters who help them create a song that reflects their experiences. In addition to the songwriting sessions, participants engage in group activities and discussions that are designed to promote connection and healing.
