Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts

Veterans Glass Studio

Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts will offer the Veterans Glass Studio, a free workshop for veterans and military families to learn the art of glass fusing and explore artistic expression in a safe and supportive environment. The workshop will be taught by U.S. Army veteran Clare Shepherd, who learned to process trauma through this art form. Participants will learn about glass fusing and creating unique pieces during the workshop. The program is open to military and military-connected families and individuals to promote artistic expression for anyone in the community who has experienced military life and would benefit from the project's intended outcomes. The Veterans Glass Studio will allow participants to process their experiences, express their creativity, and build relationships with others who understand their experiences.
