War Comes Home will bring together Marshall University students and military veterans from the community to co-create and produce an original immersive theater production under the guidance of artists from award-winning Third Rail Projects (TRP). TRP artists will lead veterans and students in a workshop during which they will conceptualize an immersive theater production that will invite audience members to experientially connect with veterans’ stories. Workshop participants will incorporate prose, poetry, choreography, theatrical staging, sound design, video media, and set design to develop a unique platform for sharing veterans’ stories and fostering mutual understanding. The workshop will culminate in a showing for the public.
