Chuck Levy serves as the Research Physician for Creative Forces. Dr. Levy has served as the Chief of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service at the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System. In that role he founded and directed the Rural Veterans Tele-Rehabilitation Initiative, pioneering the use of home telehealth to deliver creative arts therapies to veterans and service members. In 2015, Dr. Levy received the Paul B. Magnuson Award for Outstanding Achievement in Rehabilitation Research “the highest honor for VA rehabilitation investigators.” After hours, Dr. Levy is a Florida state champion fiddler and banjoist, and a banjo scholar.
