Merrilee Jorn is an art therapist in the Creative Forces Network at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital Polytrauma Center. She provides art therapy as part of the interdisciplinary team in the Post Deployment Evaluation and Rehabilitation Program (PREP). Merrilee’s clinical interests have focused on treatment of persistent physical, cognitive, and mental health symptoms related to traumatic brain injury and post traumatic stress and supports clinical research of art therapy that improves treatment and outcomes to address these concerns with active duty service members and veterans. As an advocate for the arts in health care, she has served as Board Chair and President of the Florida Art Therapy Association and served on the Board of Directors of Arts for Health Florida. Merrilee received her MS in Art Therapy from Florida State University.
